The Hinterland Photo Club is a friendly and welcoming group and consists of amateur and professional photographers who are based in and around the beautiful Maleny district of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.Hinterland Images
The experience and skills members bring to the club is diverse. Members range from beginners who are learning about their cameras and photography in general to professional photographers who have made a career from photography and have shot for various publications such as Australian Geographic Magazine.
The club meets at the Maleny Soccer Club House at the Maleny Showgrounds on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Activities at our meetings include photography competitions with a different subject/theme each month, informative talks and lectures from invited guests on a range of topics, informal discussions about cameras, techniques, software operation etc, sharing and critiquing of work and door prizes.
The club also hosts a number of enjoyable outings and very educational and informative workshops during each year. In addition we host the Maleny Show’s annual photography competition

2010 Maleny Show Photography Competion
As usual, on 28th and 29th May, the club will be hosting the Maleny photography competition at the Maleny Show, so get your images ready to enter. Competition entry forms, rules and guidelines and entry labels are available here. The club will also be raffling a digital camera so come along.
